Participants will receive a $1000 stipend to conduct research related to immigrant youth during 6-8 weeks of Summer Quarter 2021. UCLA undergraduate students from any discipline are encouraged to apply.
Steps for application:
Step 1: Seek out a UCLA faculty member conducting relevant research (a sample of possible mentors can be found in our database)
Step 2: The student and the mentor should agree on the student’s role in advancing the research and develop a plan for the fellowship (e.g. a literature review, helping collect data, etc.)
Step 3: Complete the online form summarizing proposed research and the student’s role (please limit responses to 500 words)
Step 4: Emailing student CV and faculty mentor CV to firstname.lastname@example.org (supervising faculty MUST be CC’ed).
